JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting Material Controller to be based in Bahrain

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate the actual material issuance to contractor as per Material Issue Request (MIR) issued by Material Coordinator.
• Ensure that all materials are stored and handled in a safe manner.
• Manage the receipt and initial inspection of all directly purchased materials at designated FEC Yards.
• To ensure all contractors receive full, accurate & on time materials.
• Deal with any stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently.
• You will be required to ensure that good housekeeping and HSE regulations are adhered to within the work area.

• Pro-active nature, willing to learn quickly and take new challenges.
• Attention to detail.
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Health and Safety awareness in warehouse environment.
• Team working skills across disciplines and departments.
• Computer Literate
• Responsible.
• Self-motivated with ability to motivate others.
• Bahrain Driver License (Mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Having forklift licence is a plus.
• Familiar in the use of Inventory control software for the receiving and issuing of stock (Oracle, SAP, Maximo and alike).
• Proven experience of working within a multi-warehouse environment
