Your role and responsibilities
For Distribution Solutions we are looking for a Planning & Fulfillment Excellence Specialist will join our the Grid Components and MV Switchgear organization located in Dalmine, Italy. This role supports the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Supports performance improvement, including supplier and customer on-time delivery and lead time, ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Area in Dalmine. You will be mainly accountable for • Implementing continuous improvement actions with critical suppliers/top offenders in order to increase their on-time delivery performances. Performing full supplier integration where needed. • Being responsible for stock profile and segmenting the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy, defining inventory policies according to this segmentation. • Tracking programs, initiatives, projects, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate progress and value in the own area, enabling decision-makers to allocate resources and recognize success. • Promoting a systematic fact-based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement. • Calculating and maintaining in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies. Performing regular reviews of lead times/lot sizes for all suppliers. • Collaborating with Category Managers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead time, and flexibility. • Conducting financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducting root cause analysis when necessary. • Identifying, evaluating, and implementing solutions to facilitate information/data exchange with vendors and to simplify/digitalize material planning activities. • Calculating, maintaining, and sharing yearly budget/forecast for the portfolio of materials with relevant stakeholders (vendors, Category Managers). • Leading/contributing to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. • Supporting cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting.

Qualifications for the role
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles performed in structured and complex environments
- You are a Management Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer. Experience in material planning is considered a plus;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular on Microsoft Excel;
- Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar) are considered a plus;
- You are creative, innovative and digitally smart;
- You have ownership and a problem solving attitude, you are result oriented;
- You have and agile approach;
- You have a teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile.
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
