Wood is recruiting for a Maintenance Groundskeeper Supervisor to join the team in Equatorial Guinea.

Responsible for overseeing the groundskeeping staff and ensure the maintenance and aesthetic appeal of all company properties. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of landscaping and horticulture, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Please note this position is only to National Equatorial Guinea personnel.

Location: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea

Rotation / Work Pattern: 6-day week / 8 hour day

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the groundskeeping team
• Ensure all groundskeeping tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all landscaped areas, including lawns, gardens, exterior building façades, roofs and other outdoor spaces
• Train, mentor, and evaluate groundskeeping staff to ensure high standards of work
• Monitor and maintain inventory of groundskeeping supplies and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of all outdoor areas to identify and address any maintenance needs
• Collaborate with the Onshore Maintenance Supervisor to plan and execute landscaping projects and improvements
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Respond to and resolve any groundskeeping-related issues or concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation records of work performed in line with company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Several years experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of groundskeeping maintenance schedules
• Strong understanding of landscaping and horticulture
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Desirable:

• Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate groundskeeping staff to ensure high standards of work
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, orally and written
• Engage in self-learning techniques to continually enhance skills and knowledge
