Wood is recruiting for an Offshore Roustabout to join the team in Equatorial Guinea.

Duties include but are not limited to general labour in the operation and maintenance of the platform facilities. Assists in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities under general supervision in a manner consistent with regulatory and environmental rules, regulations, and testing procedures.

Please note this position is only to National Equatorial Guinea personnel.

Location: offshore Equatorial Guinea

Rotation / Work Pattern: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, 7-day week / 12 hour day

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Under close supervision, assists in Operation and Maintenance tasks for oil and gas production facilities
• Clean, paint and maintain facilities
• Safely operate hand and power tools associated with Industrial Piping construction
• Perform and assist with crane rigging operations
• Working at heights assisting scaffolders and other personnel
• Lead by example and promote safety polices, practices and a safe work culture while on the job

QUALIFICATIONS

What makes you remarkable?

Essential requirements for role:

• Several years experience as an Offshore Roustabout in the oil & gas industry
• BOSIET & MIST certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of piping bolt-up, an understanding of torque valves and follow company torqueing procedure and an understanding of hand and pneumatic torqueing equipment
• Safely operate hand and power tools associated with Industrial Piping construction

• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing priorities in a challenging environment
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural Team environment
• Basic maths knowledge
