Area Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience in sales through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Sales Support in the Measurement and analytics team. Main stakeholders are sales specialists, managers and customers. • Collaborating with the sales team providing support in the sales operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines. • Preparation of technical presentations for clients in different industries (refineries, chemical, and thermal power plants) • Market research (energy sector) • Analysis of installed base and collaboration in the preparation of reports • Specification of analytical instrumentation (in technical and commercial proposals)

Qualifications for the role

• Currently pursuing the final years of a Chemical Engineering degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of process instrumentation and control (desirable)
