At the core of NOV's Aftermarket group, the Technical Equipment Support Services (TESS) department delivers swift and effective solutions around the clock, every day of the year, supporting rigs globally. Utilizing tools like Tracker and eHawk™ Remote Support, we address issues remotely to minimize downtime when it matters most. We also assist our Service Engineers on-site, offering guidance and insights for technical challenges.

Our Technical Support team, comprised of skilled professionals, assists clients and service personnel worldwide every day. We focus on providing technical support, troubleshooting, testing, and upgrading equipment in the field.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all types of cranes and winches, focusing on control and electrical systems.
- Assist field service personnel with equipment troubleshooting and testing.
- Offer recommendations to the Engineering team for equipment improvements.
- Conduct troubleshooting and implement upgrades.
- Collaborate with customers and internal departments to identify necessary parts for troubleshooting or planned service jobs.
- Communicate with Engineering to understand and address customer needs.
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification or higher education; relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
- Over 3 years of relevant experience in Field Service, Installation & Commissioning, Technical Support, Field Engineering, or Aftermarket projects.
- Experience in the offshore or maritime industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical/control systems.
- Proficiency in using PLC systems.
