Job Title: Mobile Tech 1- Gas

Location: Groveland & Howell, MI

Compensation: $18-20/hr.

Position Summary

Your role as a Utility Gas Leak Survey Mobile Technician is to complete outdoor leak surveys on natural gas systems and inspect gas mains for leaks or maintenance issues. This role will report to the Field Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Locate, survey, and assess the origin or damage of gas assets and gas leaks
• Detect gas leaks while inspecting designated areas
• Use advanced technology to record and effectively process data pertaining to leaks
• Ensure all field data is collected and reported accurately daily with attention to detail
• Work independently and timely
• Be self-motivated and accomplish daily goals
• Drive 8 hours plus daily to complete daily assigned routes

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record (chauffeurs license preferred)
• Have strong communication skills and detail oriented
• Must be able and willing to walk 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and various weather conditions.
• Must be able and willing to drive for up to 8 hours or more per day
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Passionate about making a difference in the environment
• Familiar with using a smart phone and laptop to collect data

Pay:

• $18.00-20.00hr
