We are looking for an experienced Monitoring Technician to join our enthusiastic Water Hygiene team. As a committed people company we strive to help hard working employees to build a career.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Sites around Suffolk, London, Norfold, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire

Salary: £13.57 to £15.70 per hour

Job purpose

Reporting to the Senior Water Treatment Engineer, your role is to cover all water treatment aspects within the Eastern Region.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Closed system sampling, testing, dosing and flushing
• Steam Boiler sampling, dosing and testing
• Reverse Osmosis Servicing
• UV Servicing
• Water Softener Servicing and installs
• Carry out Pre-commission cleaning works as required to job specifications provided.
• Survey for works and provide methodology as required for most cost effective and best results providing information to sales team as required.
• Carry out remedial works to existing systems as required.
• Carry out closed system sampling, dosing and analysis.
• Carry out disinfections of tanks, pipework and buildings.
• Liaise with, HSL office staff, site personnel.
• Assist with the following: Acid cleans and Pre-Commission cleaning of large scale systems such as hospitals, schools data centres etc Remedial cleaning of existing system.

Experince & Skills

• Cooling towers testing and maintenance
• Closed systems sampling, testing and maintenance
• Steam boilers
• Water Softner servicing
• UV, RO & DI Systems
• RPZ Valve testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check to work in all kinds of sites including schools
• Good level of computer skills
• Ability to complete paperwork and reports in a timely manner

The role is based in Suffolk but may involve working from our Bury St Edmunds or Dartford offices or involve travel to different locations.
