H. E. Neumann, a leading provider of Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Mechanical Contracting services, is seeking a Commercial Estimator to join our growing team operating out of our Wheeling, WV location!

Responsibilities include:
• Utilize (QuoteExpress) an on-screen Mechanical Take-off program.
• Prepare and present bid proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimating.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Provide input on value engineering and cost-saving measures to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bid documents, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontracts to obtain quotes and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 5 + years of experience in Commercial Mechanical Estimating.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
