We’re looking for an experienced and diverse Mechanical Outage Planner to join our client’s team and take charge of planning and execution for an industrial Turnaround in Sherwood Park, AB

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead outage scope planning and execution
🔹 Develop work scopes and create detailed planning packages
🔹 Manage contractor field activities, ensuring safety & quality compliance
🔹 Provide daily schedule updates and coordinate project timelines
🔹 Support the Management of Change (MOC) process
What You need to Bring to the Team:
✔ 10 years’ experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines
✔ 5 years as a Mechanical Planner
✔ Strong knowledge of P&IDs, piping isometrics, and industry codes
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Primavera P6
✔ QC experience preferred (CWI, API 510, or API 570)
✔ Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours. Travel may be required as much as 25-45% depending on projects

- Work requires working from heights, climbing fixed ladders, and stairs, etc.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
- Understands quality standards as outlined by company/industry guidelines/standards.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains a professional and cooperative attitude when interacting with colleagues, supervisors, management, support staff, program participants, and business associates.
