 About the Role: 

Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking an Onshore Project Director –  Saudi Arabia. This is a great opportunity to join a Global Engineering Consultancy and working on their major iconic Oil and Gas Project portfolio. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Experience with managing projects from conception to execution. 

• Delivers to client’s satisfaction and contractual requirements. 

• Accountable for project cost performance and accounts receivable. 

• Serve as prime point of contact between the clients and company. 

• Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems. 

• Manages and coordinates project leadership personnel. 

• Supports business development and new proposals for offshore opportunities. 

• Negotiates changes with clients. 

• Responsible for all contracts in their program of works. 

• Use and share best practices among the Project Managers 

• Plans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan. 

• Providing regular updates to the clients and advise on project status.  

• Leads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project. 
  • Project Delivery to the Quality Management systems. 
  • Forecast workload ensuring deployment of sufficient resources (which will require close cooperation with the Engineering Manager). 
  • Resolution of inter-project conflicts. 
  • Manage all people assigned to offshore contracts effectively. 
• • Proficient in English and Arabic languages.  

     

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related degree. 
    • Extensive experience within onshore oil and gas. 
    • Proven experience in the management of engineering and procurement projects. 
    • Must have strong knowledge of detailed design projects.  
    • Greenfield and brownfield experience. 
    • Previous experience with Aramco requirements.  
    • Fabrication/Construction experience would be beneficial. 
    • Strong financial and commercial understanding of projects. 
    • Able to lead others in a challenging environment. 
    • Able to make decisions and drive decision processes. 
    • Well-developed management and administrative skills. 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
    • Works within a team to establish direction, alignment and commitment. 
    • Experience with Risk and Change Management.
