Sr Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician
As a Sr. Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician here atHoneywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficientoperation of controls systems in our industrial facilities. You will beresponsible for installing, maintaining, repairing controls, electricalequipment, mechanical, and systems, as well as troubleshooting issues tominimize downtime and maximize productivity.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our plantequipment, ensuring that they meet the highest safety and quality standards.You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to support theproduction process and contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Schedule: Night shift 2/2/3
Hours: 7pm-7am
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems,which includes tasks like troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventativemaintenance, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper operation of automatedmachinery by working with sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, controllers, and related components, oftenutilizing knowledge of PLC programming and electrical schematics to diagnoseand resolve issues; they may also collaborate with engineers to implementsystem upgrades or modifications.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanicalsystems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issuesbefore they cause disruptions.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and implement effective solutions tominimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operationof electrical systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe workingenvironment.
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc.("PIP®"), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, weanticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject tocustomary closing conditions. The intent of this role, dedicated to the PPEbusiness, will be part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws andregulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S.citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. underasylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of five 5 years of experience as a Controls IndustrialMaintenance Technician
• Experience working on PLC programming andtroubleshooting is required. (AllenBradley, HMIs.)
• Experience working in a multi-craft industrialmanufacturing or similar environment with experience as a control technician,electrician and or mechanic is required.
WE VALUE
• Other industrial Maintenance backgrounds would beconsidered as well.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, troubleshooting,pipe fitting, and installation will be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to use CMMS to perform PMs and report on plantissues.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification would be a plus.
• PLC trainings and or certifications
• Associate's degree in electrical engineering or relatedfield would be a plus.
• Preferred Ten (10) years of experience as a Controls IndustrialMaintenance Technician
