As a Materials Planning Manager, you will lead a team of MaterialsPlanners across the Site/Network for your assigned business or channel. Youwill support your SBG Dir/Snr Dir of Materials/Production/Supply Planning toexecute the vision and goals for your Raw Materials Planning function andmanage the people and processes to achieve this.

You will partner with the SBG / CORP COE and SME's to deploy theHoneywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate the full adoption ofRapidResponse planning tools across your network.

You will manage a team of Raw Materials Planners and the Raw MaterialsPlanning process cycle for your network of sites. You will ensure raw materialsreplenishment plans align to the network Supply & Production Plans andachieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains withinthe business goals. You will ensure the network Materials Requirements Plans(MRP) will satisfy the network Constrained Master Production Schedules (MPS).You will work with the master data teams to ensure all BOM and master data inthe ERP system is correct and up to date. You will own the plan for every part(PFEP) analysis and will ensure the correct stock entitlement is reflected inthe systems and adhered to. You will partner with the Production Planning andBuying leaders to ensure materials are delivered to the sites/network on timewhilst achieving the ISC goals of cost control and working capital targets.

You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events and transitionsto ensure the network raw materials replenishment strategy delivers on theproduct portfolio vitality goals. You will partner with the production planningand buying leaders to create and execute your site/network materialsreplenishment plans. You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at thesite/network level to approve the site/network material replenishment plans andto present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Businessleadership in the Supply & Reconciliation meetings. You will demonstratehow the site/network Production plans satisfy the site/network supply plans.

You will create and drive apositive working environment and culture of continuous improvement throughoutyour organization to achieve the best possible outcome from your resources. Youwill lead the development of your team to increase their skills and capabilityin readiness for internal progression and succession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining the Vision & Driving Strategy for Raw Materials Planning and Execution
  • Lead and Establishing a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence
  • Oversee and manage the Raw Materials Planning function and process
  • Sets Stocking and Replenishment Strategies Push vs Pull to support Maximum Service with Minimum Inventories to meet AOP
  • Own and Ensuring material master accuracy
  • Cycle Count & Inventory Record Accuracy
  • Ensuring materials plan is accurate and current
  • Define and maintain Quota arrangements/Multiple sourced items
  • Identify MOQ/EOQ/Lot sizes outside of entitlement and working with Strategic Sourcing to resolve
  • Work closely with Commodity management to address supply availability for constrained commodities and provide recommended solutions
  • Identify and solve problems in and out of the immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet supply requirements
  • Lead/participate continuous improvement projects/kaizens
  • Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results
  • Support clients to solve escalations and achieve metrics
  • Identify material related issues and work with procurement to resolve material constraints
  • Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/Product Lifecycle
  • Supports Inventory/Materials Planner in maintaining accurate planning parameters / material master data
  • Review of the Capacity and Constrained Supply plans in the SIOP cycle
  • Owning KPI's for supply - OTFP, Past Due, Site Inventory, MPS Load & Schedule Adherence
  • Deputize for the Dir/Snr Dir in all SIOP meetings where required
  • Coach, mentor and develop production your team for future progression within Honeywell

The Honeywell building is acontrolled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGPclearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in a related operations management or supply chain management or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of experience in Supply Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.
  • SAP knowledge and use
  • SIOP Knowledge
