We are looking for a Commodity Engineer/ Senior Engineer who will work in global supply chain organization to develop Non China source to support Non China Non India project demanding, also need improve supply chain digitalization to integrate supplier data and well monitoring supplier performance and cost.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop a world-class supplier base in Asia:
  • Develop Korea foundry sourcing strategies in conjunction with Regional Manager
  • Drive Korea foundry development qualifications
  • Monitor supplier capacity to ensure materials availability
  • Manage responsible supplier base to ensure quality levels are maintained
  • Coordinate with R&D/Product engineers regarding requirements for product transfers and new product developments.
  • Source the best cost suppliers for Sakura plant
• Establish and meet cost containment/ cost reduction targets for assigned commodity
• Strategic Supplier management to meet materials availability & Commodity inventory cost objectives.
• Drive lean projects to improve lead-time, flexibility worldwide manufacturing sites.
• Drive for development and implementation China localization initiatives, aligned to Global/AP objective
• Valve cost analysis to support China projects profit uplift
• Digital supply chain，development office automation to integrate supplier data into our data system and well monitoring supplier performance

• Degree or equivalent experience in relevant Computer Science or Engineering
• Good English & Korea or Japanese communication
• Good use of Office and IT automation tools Power Automation, Python...
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work under pressure
