Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist (hybrid)

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell, in Bucharest, you will be responsible for Driving CompetitiveCommodity Sourcing Strategies: achieving the lowest Total Cost, enhancingproductivity, and optimizing working capital through strategic negotiation,planning, and execution. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work fromhome model.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of ourAdvanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company,independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to theAdvanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when theseparation occurs.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage Site Category andCommodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysisand Global Technology / Economic trends
• Ensure Relationshipdevelopment and management with key Supplier Leaderships
• Align with Site Sales,Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and OtherHoneywell Businesses
• Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes
• Improve Working Capital thru Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories Inventory and Lead time reductions

Key skills and qualifications:

• University graduate in the fields of Manufacturing, Industrial Eng. technology, Chemicals, Electronics or other relevant fields of study
• Fluent English (fluent German is a plus)
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in Sourcing and procurement including Chemicals buying, knowledge of Chemicals spend and supply base
• SAP and Microsoft Excel skills
• Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
