As a Director of Engineering here at Honeywell, you will play a critical rolein leading and managing the engineering function within the company. You willbe responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, andoperational oversight to the TorranceMechanical Test team. You will also be responsible for driving test strategies across theMechanical Test organization and leading business initiatives andprojects. The Director of Engineering will collaborate with cross-functionalteams and stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and achievebusiness objectives.

You will report directly to our Senior Director for Mechanical Test andyou will work out of our Torrance, California location on a on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to driveinnovation, deliver high-quality products, and achieve business objectives.Your strategic leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellencewill contribute to the company's success, reputation, and growth in theindustry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic direction and leadership tothe Torrance Mechanical Test team
• Directly manage Torrance Mechanical Testengineering team
• Oversee the planning, execution, and deliveryof engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams andstakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives
• Ensure adherence to engineering bestpractices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage and optimize engineering resources,budgets, and timelines
• Identify and implement process improvements toenhance efficiency and productivity
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineeringteam
• Lead strategic projects and businessinitiatives for Mechanical Test organization
• Lead business initiatives and projects

The annual base salary range for this position is$ 216,000.00-$266,000.00 Please note that this salary informationserves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors whenextending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilitiesof the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, keyskills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relatedfield (Master's degree preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles
• Prior experience in managing cross-functionalteams and stakeholders
• Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
• Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, andinterpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solvingabilities
