If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, reporting directly to Director of Electrical Engineering to join our Engineering team based in Claremont, CA.

About the Job

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will work on a project task force team completing technical and economic feasibility studies, licensed technology based process design packages, and act as project lead for detailed engineering activities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare load summary, single lines, protection diagrams for MV & HV switchgear, motors/generators, transformers and MCCs. Perform load flow, short circuit analysis, transient motor starting studies, harmonic analysis, protection relay setting calculations & coordination curves using ETAP and /or SKM software.
  • Prepare electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, scope of work/work packages. Carry out technical bid analysis and review of vendor drawings.
  • Prepare substation equipment layouts, schematics & wiring drawings.
  • Possible domestic/international field assignments may be required

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in petrochemical, refinery, renewables or power generation projects.
  • California or Texas Professional Engineer preferred
  • Familiar with NEC, IEC, CEC, ANSI, IEEE, API and NEMA standards.
