Short description

As a Hardware Engineer - Mechanical, you will collaborate with your colleagues on various projects, focusing on the design and maintenance of products and instruments integral to the monitoring and control systems on board dredgers.

Function description

• Create and maintain detailed and assembly drawings (using CAD systems) for mechanical parts of new and modified measuring sensors, control panels, and constructions for part placement on board.
• Develop bills of materials and technical specifications.
• Establish test conditions and conduct quality control.
• Collect, edit, and add documentation to corresponding products.
• Compile building blocks for the order index per product.
• Serve as the point of contact for managing and providing drawings and documentation upon request.

Requirements

• Completed MBO/HBO education in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
• Knowledge of Eplan/Pro Panel and Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with product data management packages.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong general knowledge of production methods.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Ability to work in Kinderdijk, The Netherlands.
