As a Finance Specialist here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in assisting the finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, analyze trends, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and identifying areas for improvement. In this role, you will report directly to our Finance Manager and work out of our Geismar, LA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the financial performance of Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) by providing accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting. You will play a vital role in assisting the finance function and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and analyze trends
• Provide insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance
