As a Sr Systems Engineering Supervisor here atHoneywell, you will play a critical role in leading the team developingelectronic control units for Electro-mechanical Flight Control Actuationsystems. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to the team,ensuring the successful development and delivery of advanced systems. Yourleadership and technical knowledge will contribute to the improvement of flightcontrol actuation systems, enhancing the safety and efficiency of aircraftoperations.

You will reportdirectly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Brno, CZlocation on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, youwill have a direct impact on the development of electronic control units forflight control actuation systems, ensuring the reliability and performance ofthese critical components.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear direction to the direct reports, incl. goals, expectations, development plans and performance assessment. Break barriers and escalations to local and global leadership
• Create resource plans and hiring
• Be a mentor and coach
• Hands on / working leader supporting project execution (technical and programmatic)
• Ensure compliance and on time delivery to ourcustomers

Key skills and qualifications

• University degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics field
• At least 3 years' experience with leading a team (technical lead or people manager)
• Good technical background (electrical/ hardware/ software)
• Advanced command of English language is mandatory (B2/C1) - communication in English (spoken and written) with global teams
• Self-motivation to learn and grow, ability to work with little supervision, consistent taking the initiative to get things done, doing things before being asked by others or forced to by events
