This position reports to

Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Richmond, VA area. You will be mainly accountable to: • Performs standard and ad hoc detailed analyses for planning & fulfillment metrics (inventory, on-time delivery, lead-time, forecast accuracy, resource utilization). Identifies key root causes for non-performance, and drives improvement initiatives across Business. • Establishes and shares best practices for operations planning, inventory management and resource management. Supports local Operations Planners Master Schedule Planner and Material Planner. • Supports the local implementation of planning technology solutions. • Compiles and sends weekly/monthly report out to business leaders on planning and fulfillment and inventory performance. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years experience OR Associate's Degree with minimum 7 years experience OR High School Diploma with minimum 9 years experience.
  • Preferred experience includes: Order management, project management, or demand planner with sales operations planning or supply chain background.
  • Knowledge of larger project business execution and mechanical / electrical category knowledge is an asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, SAP.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, APICS - Certifications preferred.
  • Travel required, less than 25%
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
