As a Government Contracts Attorney here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and guidance on government contracts and compliance matters to our Advanced Connected Sustainability Technology (ACST) Business Unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Honeywell operates ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in its government contracting activities.
You will report directly to our ACST General Counsel and you'll work out of either our Herndon, VA or Golden Valley, MN locations on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by providing expert legal advice and ensuring compliance with government contracting laws and regulations. You will contribute to the development and implementation of legal strategies and policies to support the company's objectives in government contracting.
You will also be afforded an opportunity to grow and enhance your legal skills in the areas of commercial transactions, go-to-market strategies, and Intellectual Property law.

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in government contracting activities
- Advise on risk mitigation strategies and dispute resolution related to government contracts
- Stay up to date with changes in government contracting laws and regulations

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on government contracts
- Strong knowledge of government contracting laws and regulations
