About the Role

As a Project Manager in our Global Production Technology team, you will play a key role in optimizing and expanding our manufacturing capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the design and construction of a new facility that will accommodate a new machine arriving in mid-2026 at our Kalundborg factory. This role goes beyond traditional project management-success will require a broad technical understanding of production processes and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

You will act as a bridge between engineering, operations, and external contractors, ensuring that the new facility is designed for optimal efficiency and aligned with production needs. Your work will impact not only our Kalundborg site but also our Brazilian factory, contributing to a globally aligned production strategy. The position requires strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as you will be coordinating across multiple departments, time zones, and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and construction of new production facilities, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
• Translate complex engineering challenges into clear, actionable plans for specialized teams.
• Monitor and manage financial baselines, project timelines, and key performance metrics.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, production teams, and R&D.
• Ensure projects comply with HSE, Quality, Mechanical Design, and Control Systems requirements.
• Collaborate with teams in Brazil and Denmark to align global production strategies.
• Maintain a hands-on approach, engaging directly with production environments to validate project decisions.
• Drive projects forward with a structured and solution-oriented mindset, overcoming obstacles along the way.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of machine operation; experience with metal forming and extrusion processes is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Danish or Portuguese is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a structured and quality-conscious manner, meeting high offshore industry documentation standards.
