Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the architectural authority for your technology area of responsibility. Each day, you will guide and lead Solution Architects to ensure the integrity of the technology architecture. You will also showcase your expertise by realizing the benefits from standardization, synergy, and optimization of the technology landscape across business and domains. The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid This role is contributing to the Enterprise IS Technology Architecture in Global region. Main stakeholders are Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Technology and Platforms . You will be mainly accountable for: • Contribute and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. • Collaborate with stakeholders to design IT systems that meet business requirements. • Work closely with other architects to ensure the integrity of the enterprise architecture across the organization. • Assist business leaders and their teams in evaluating the technological, business, and operational implications of their technology investment decisions. • Identify innovative solutions and validate their value within the ABB environment. • Develop and maintain target architecture and associated documentation such as technical blueprints, reference architectures, and technology standards. • Conduct evaluations of market trends, technologies, and vendors. Shaping the detailed strategy for narrow architecture of complexity within your own area of responsibility. • Approving architecture changes and solutions and exercising authority to approve/reject solutions that fulfill criteria defined in the heatmap. Qualifications for the role

• 10+ years of experience with IT infrastructure, applications, and security processes and solutions, including:
• o Proven experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) for environments with 100k+ users
• o Extensive technical expertise in Active Directory
• o Extensive Knowledge and Experience with EntraID Security, Governance, and Compliance Solutions
• o Hands-on experience designing and deploying administrative tier models for Active Directory
• o Deep experience with Azure B2C/Entra ID external identities and CIAM
• o Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth, WS-Federation (WSFED), and the Microsoft Graph API
• o Experience with federation services, multi-factor authentication (MFA), enterprise single sign-on (SSO), and privileged access management (PAM)
• o Proficiency in integrating applications with IAM and SSO solutions
• o Solid foundation in information security principles
• o Familiarity with manufacturing/operational technology environments in the context of IAM is a plus
• o Experience with IAM integrations based on ServiceNow and ClearSkye is a plus
• o Knowledge of other IAM platforms (e.g., Google Identity Platform, Okta) is a plus
• Strategic thinking with extensive experience implementing Zero Trust frameworks for identity management
• Proven ability in global project planning and execution, including economic aspects of system management and lifecycle management
• Experience in leading IT teams indirectly (i.e., teams that do not report directly to you)
• Technical Documentation writer proficiency
• Strong capability to objectively evaluate solutions and make actionable recommendations
• Expertise in analyzing business requirements and developing technical solutions and frameworks
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills
