Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to support ABB's business strategy by managing a Switchgear product portfolio that enhances ABB's competitiveness and success of our customers. We put safety, sustainability and reliability on the top of our priorities. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area based in 10th of Ramadan Cairo Egypt. You will be mainly accountable for: • Listening to customer challenges and identifying how ABB switchgear products can support customers in their success journey. • Influencing customer specifications promoting ABB MV SWG products • Identifying potential development initiatives on SWG product line. • Leading the approved TOT and development initiatives by working in cross function teams. • Working with SCM and suppliers for costing activities • Participating with product manager in costing and pricing strategies • Participating in product positioning strategies • Preparing market analysis & working with global teams in product roadmap • Participating with engineering in the DTOs • Managing the SWG offering tools with support from the product manager • Conducting seminars to customers to introduce ABB technologies • Working with product manager is the approval and product homologation • Giving the internal and external technical support regarding to MV SWG • Conducting benchmark with the global units to transfer the best practice • Participating in new product launch.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in electrical Power engineering OR mechanical engineering (with switchgear experience)
• 2 years' experience in switchgear business and knowledge about ABB rules and regulations, ISO 9001 requirements, good knowledge of IEC and relevant standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English & Arabic, French is a plus
