We are looking for a full time HVAC Install Engineers Mate to join our growing team of engineers. You'll be working alongside our other engineers across a large number of our commercial clients on a national scale.

This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence.

As a Thermatic HVAC Install Engineer's Mate you are a member of the Install team. The team's main aim is to support clients with their mechanical installation requirements. As an Install Engineer's Mate, you will support this purpose by assisting installation engineers with HVAC installation projects across a number of clients.

Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients.

Hours & Location of Work:

Main location - this is a fully mobile role covering a national scale.

Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

• Previous experience working as a labourer or engineer's mate within a Gas or HVAC installation capacity
• CSCS card
• Basic plumbing and building material skills/knowledge
• Asbestos Awareness
• Full UK driving licence
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations regarding maintenance activities

Desirable:

• Limited Scope pipe fitting

Responsibilities include:

• Working alongside engineers to assist in the installation of commercial HVAC equipment to manufacturing specifications and local regulations.
• Supporting the timely delivery of projects to agreed timescales
• Support technical aspects of project and find opportunities to secure further work
• Provide out of hours assistance due to the requirements if the premises and clients
• Supporting clients nationally, and attending client sites across mainland UK.
• Maintain positive and constructive client relationships throughout the whole process.
