We are looking for a CGA Application Engineer. This position can be based anywhere in the continental United States with a preference in the state of Texas.
You'll make an impact by:
- Acts as a subject matter expert on Siemens extractive continuous gas analyzers and tunable diode lasers products.
- Demonstrate a combination of technical and project management skills.
- Performs onsite services and repairs for CGA/Lasers for Siemens customers in the US.
- Prepares site reports and technical proposals based on work performed.
- Applies acquired process, product and/or equipment knowledge based on current industry trends, best practices, performance, price and functionality.
- Provides technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions.
- Resolves very complex technical problems to meet customers' needs.
- Provides support to hotline and applications team as needed.
- Generates technical collateral such as application notes and examples for reuse by others.
- Develop and/or deliver training courses to customer and partners.
- Implements a yearly learning and development plan focusing on technical skills and engineering soft skills.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A CGA Engineer must have extensive experience in various gas analyzer technologies such as NDIR, UV, TDL, FID, TCD and Paramagnetic along with experience in designing/servicing complex gas analyzer solutions. Knowledge with Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS). This position requires an individual with very strong technical skills and the ability to think outside-of-the-box to address the most complex applications with the most compelling arguments.

- Bachelor or equivalent technical degree.
- 5+ years of experience with gas analytics including accompanying sample conditioning systems.
- Successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as described above
- Safey First mindset.
- Have a TSA TWIC card or able to obtain.
- Travel 50%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

- The pay range for this position is $78,960 - $135,360 and the annual incentive is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
