As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all material, welding, and NDE aspects of the SPS package, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Service Dimensions
The service holder will be in charge of all the Material / Welding and NDE aspects of the SPS package ie covering activities from design, qualification, supply, manufacturing, and construction to pre-com. / commissioning for operation. It shall ensure overall consistency with good industry practices and respect for code / technical standards requirements. This will include but not be limited to and be reviewing, approving and dossiers Call For Tender and EPFS phases for the SPS system for a very deep water oil greenfield project.
Role Overview
- H3SE&Q Compliance: Implement and enforce H3SE rules and requirements, ensuring safe working practices are followed.
- Code of Conduct: Promote and enforce the Anti-Corruption Program within the project.
- Knowledge of Company Rules and Specifications: Familiarize yourself with relevant CR's/GS's, international norms, and standards.
- Qualification Programs: Identify and manage any necessary studies or qualification programs for SPS engineering and construction.
- Review and Validation: Timely review and validate SPS documentation from contractors, highlighting any deviations or unacceptable design choices.
- Coordinate Materials, Welding & NDE Studies: Oversee risk analysis, QA/QC, and other related activities.
- Technical Scope of Work: Clearly define the technical scope of work and interfaces between contracts.
- Supervise Detailed Design Activities: Approve materials, welding, and NDE-related design activities and support qualification efforts.
- Welding and NDT Expertise: Coordinate expertise and audit equipment and service providers for welding and materials procurement and construction.
- Welding Competence Requirements: Knowledge of low alloy steel F22/8630 A77, buttered connections, weld overlay, and super duplex stainless steel butt welding.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain all necessary technical documentation for the Venus SPS packages.
- HSE&Q Compliance: Ensure all technical documentation adheres to HSE&Q requirements.
- Technical Referent: Act as the technical referent for contractors, coordinating all SPS engineering team activities.
- Project Reviews: Participate in project reviews as requested by TotalEnergies referential.
- Safe Working Practices: Ensure safe working practices are used throughout all phases of the project.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all SPS documentation produced.
- Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in SPS systems.
- Languages: Fluency in English.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years in studies and execution phases of large offshore oil & gas projects with a focus on SPS equipment welding & NDE activities.
- Additional Features: High awareness of safe working practices on subsea system construction. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel as required for business both internally and overseas. Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures in a complex and multicultural working environment. Good knowledge of relevant codes, preferably TotalEnergies General Specifications.
