Performs basic laboratory studies or administrative functions under supervision or direction of an appropriately trained person or Manager. Helps conduct industrial research in the field of materials science as applied to Aerospace materials.

Qualifications-
1. PhD in the field of Materials Science / Metallurgy / Ceramics engineering / related field
3. Good Communications Skills
4. Has experience of most commonly used techniques, experiments and functional processes.
5. Detail oriented
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities-
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include:
- Perform and document routine experiments and organize studies (involving resources, materials, and equipment)
- Perform routine specialist or administrative tasks within a particular function in Research & Development.
- Improve, challenge and simplify processes, while sharing knowledge.
- In the laboratory setting, properly validate experimental systems-drive the validations and make sure the system is accurate
- Work within the established GxP (GoodxPractices), quality systems, and applicable rules.
- Ensure general housekeeping and organization
- Demonstrate competence with experimental practices to identify inaccuracies
- Apply learning across the full range of work activities.
- Provide data for report writing and produce written reports
Qualifications-
1. PhD in the field of Materials Science / Metallurgy / Ceramics engineering / related field
