About this vacancy

As an All-round Data Engineer at TMC Data Science, you will contribute to cutting-edge projects in the renewable energy sector, focusing on the development and optimization of electrolyzers. You will play a key role in advancing sustainable energy solutions, helping to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change. You will collaborate with teams across teams globally and serve as a bridge between data engineering and data analysis teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data management solutions, including SQL, noSQL, metadata, schema, and API.
• Utilize cloud architectures (Azure) and cloud-programming languages such as Yaml and Python (numpy, pandas, pyspark).
• Implement data processing methodologies and tools/orchestration such as Data Factory, Fabric, and Databricks workflows.
• Manage streaming data/IoT solutions (stream analytics or Kafka) and maintain CI/CD tools and infrastructure.
• Ensure data governance implementation to build a foundation for data analytics/science.
• Create relational data models and deploy, productionize, and scale ETL solutions for industrial use cases.
• Collaborate with data analysts and engineers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data needs are met.
• Apply SCRUM-framework and tooling (DevOps, Jira) in project management.

What we expect from you

• ~5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in data management, cloud architectures, and cloud-programming languages.
• Experience with data processing tools, streaming data solutions, and CI/CD management.
• Knowledge of data governance, relational data models, and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders and global teams.
