Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage end-to-end solar installation projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train installation crews, providing guidance, performance feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Perform site inspections to ensure installations meet company standards, customer expectations, and local codes/regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company-specific safety practices and protocols on all job sites.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for customers during the installation process, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Resource Management: Coordinate materials, equipment, and staffing needs to optimize project efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, safety inspections, and team performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in solar installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training in solar or electrical systems preferred.
- Certifications: NABCEP certification and OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders as needed.
