Role Overview
- Provide technical support for base operations and serve as an expert liaison for the site.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex process unit/electrical problems.
- Identify and communicate vulnerabilities to responsible business teams.
- Support risk assessments and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause failure analysis.
- Develop maintenance worklists and participate in turnarounds and improvement teams.
- Design and specify industrial electrical equipment for new or replacement projects.
- Drive improvement in site electrical equipment health and reliability.
- Participate in external peer assists and represent site electrical concerns in broader initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, transformers, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical safety, design, testing standards, power system modeling, and protective relay coordination.
- Ability to work with a variety of personnel at different levels and communicate effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for construction or repairs.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing and polymer production operations preferred.
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering; Masters candidates will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in petrochemical production/manufacturing facilities.
- Must have Work Authorization (Green Card or US Citizenship) to work in the US.
