As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving operations within our Aerospace Technologies (AERO) business unit.
You will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Supervisor and you'll work out of our Mississauga, Ontario location.
In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records of inventory. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in our shipping and receiving processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Handling: Follow proper company policies and procedures when handling paperwork and inventory. Maintain consistent accuracy in shipping of product. Adhere to Transport of Dangerous Goods regulations.
Organization/Planning: The ability to meet deadlines for shipment 'Cut-Off' times to customers and carriers, demonstrate a consistent aptitude to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Team Player: The ability to exhibit strong team spirit, effectively interfaces with other warehouse employees, carriers and internal customers.
Safety Practices: Follow all established safety practices, including stocking shelves, and performing daily job responsibilities, logistics and transportation of dangerous goods and ability to lift up to 35 lbs following established health and safety practices.
Work Area: Maintain a clean working environment, floor clean, aisles clear, presentable workstation. Keep area in a neat and orderly manner within a 5 S environment.

- Induct / Receive OEM / R&O / PRO materials from supplier
- Create shipping documentation to prepare for outbound delivery, based on information system generated
- Generate appropriate Customs / export documentation and / or Dangerous Goods Documentations for outbound shipments
- Contact appropriate carriers to dispatch shipments
- Coordinate with various carriers for outbound shipments / deliveries and perform follow-ups
- Escalate internal order / system issues as required
- Follow-up with appropriate groups on escalated issues
- Filing of documents
- Expediting back orders
- Maintain the warehouse
- Follow general receiving practices of inbound courier and carrier deliveries

YOU MUST HAVE:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 3 years' International Shipping and Receiving and Customs experience
WE VALUE:
- Experience with receiving, shipping and inventory management
- College diploma or certification in logistics and / or APICS program
- English communication skills both written and verbal
- Problem resolution skills
- SAP experience
- MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong self-starter
- Flexibility with working hours, overtime as required. Occasional Saturday overtime. On-Call support, business needs dependent.
