JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead and grow our business in India. This role involves managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing all sales and operations activities. The ideal candidate will drive business results while maintaining strong relationships with our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and capitalize on new revenue generation opportunities to expand market share.
  • Engage with Operations and Sales teams to support customers throughout the entire process, from lead to after-sales support.
  • Utilize the CRM system to support revenue forecasting and marketing efforts for growth.
  • Oversee all sales and operations activities, including lead generation, proposals, orders, delivery, and collections, in a proactive manner.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Maintain and update records of all operator activities and sales data using CRM/Sales Cloud and other reporting tools.
  • Actively retain and expand the customer base in India by identifying new projects and market trends.
  • Develop strategies for account development by understanding customer profiles and decision-making processes.
  • Deliver effective sales and technical presentations to various customer groups.
  • Monitor competitor products and tactics and develop strategies to counter them when necessary.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, customer meetings, and marketing events.
  • Provide operational support when required.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on operations, sales, marketing, or technical roles.
  • Experience with drilling operations and/or equipment's or the ability to quickly learn about our product lines.
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Proven experience with managing and/or understanding of P&L, with necessary financial knowledge.
  • Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience managing the sales funnel process from lead to collections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage confidently with various customer groups.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have a passport and be able to obtain necessary visas for regional travel.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as needed.
