As a Manager at Kearney , you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Energy & Process Industries practic e as we offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients.

We a re looking for team member s to join o ur North American Utilities' and Infrastructure Services practice . Our strategic, operational, and digital advisory services help our clients understand changing market dynamics, meet their performance objectives , assess investments in new technologies , and manage stakeholder needs in a high growth yet resource constrained environment. Example project work include s :

  • Process excellence and advisory, including asset, risk, investment, and work management
  • Capital strategy and delivery support, including performance benchmarking and contracting strategy development
  • Digital strategy and solution advisory, focused on asset management, investment decision analytics, and regulatory support
  • Financial and operational analysis in support of large investments and change programs

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Are i nsightful, inquisitive, collaborative .
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience l ead ing strategic projects with major utility clients, managing all phases from problem identification through analysis to recommendation development and implementation.
  • Can w ork directly with senior client executives to present findings and strategies, ensure alignment with client objectives , and facilitating decision-making and strategy development.
  • Have p roven experience conducting detailed market, industry, and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the utility sector.
  • Can d evelop business strategies that help clients enhance operational efficiencies, comply with regulatory requirements, and leverage technological innovations.
  • Have e xperience advising utility clients in one or more of the following areas:
    • Asset and risk management
    • Portfolio analysis and investment decision making
    • Large capital program / project execution, from planning to execution to close out
    • Evaluation, development, and/or deployment of digital solutions
    • Performance improvement program design, execution support, and/or oversight

  • Can perform detailed financial analysis and develop regulatory strategy, including business case development, strategic roadmap creation, and support for regulatory testimony
  • Are located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, or Washington, DC.
  • Are fluent in English .
  • Have an MBA degree ( preferred ) with 8 years of professional experience.
  • Have experience working as a Management Consultant .
  • Have experience managing proposal writing efforts; participating in pitches for consulting work; developing new business within existing accounts through client relationships.
  • Are passionate about leading teams and mentoring colleagues.

Manager Compensation - $212,000 - $235,000: It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness . In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
