This position reports to

Talent Aquisition Manager

Your role and responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition and Talent Advancement function at ABB partners with the business functions in attracting, selecting, retaining and onboarding talent. The Senior Talent Partner will report directly to the Canadian Head of Talent and will collaborate closely with our candidates and line managers, as well as work with our, Early Talent, University Relations & Employer Branding Team, Global Business Services (GBS) and HR Business Partners. You will be the main point of contact for internal clients with regards to Talent Acquisition and Talent Advancement requirements across Canada for all of our Lines of Business. • Own and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from intake, job posting, sourcing, selection, offer negotiation and onboarding. • Source profiles through pro-active head-hunting initiatives for hard to fill roles. • Ensure quality of job postings, mitigate gender biases and ensure they are aligned with corporate branding. • Provide feedback and coaching to the interviewed internal/external candidates in accordance with local practices and laws. • Ensure an excellent level of Candidate Experience (CX). • Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to understand current talent challenges and develop short and long-term sourcing strategies. • Act as an SME to the business and the leaders on the talent market and trends. Provide coaching and feedback to the internal hiring managers. • Participate, lead or collaborate on Talent Projects.

Qualifications for the role

  • 5 years' experience in a relevant role related to recruitment, agency experience is ideal.
  • 100% team player with a strong collaborative spirit that likes to have fun at work.
  • Verbal and written fluency in French and English is a must. The selected candidate will be responsible for recruiting activities across Canada in both French and English.
  • Highly developed communication, sales and advising skills who thoroughly enjoys networking.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys employer branding, strong social presence and isn't afraid of a challenge.
  • This position will require 1 day a week at the office and adhoc for business led initiatives.
