We are currently seeking an E&T Commissioning Lead, reporting directly to the Commissioning Lead to join our Construction & Commissioning team based in Perth, Western Australia on a 24 month fixed term contract.

About The Role
This position will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of all activities related to commissioning for the offshore portfolio, as directed by the Commissioning Lead. Driving QHSE awareness, safe work procedures and behaviour, whilst directing and leading construction disciplines within electrical and telecoms and all commissioning activities associated with the project. This role will include a rotation to Singapore for the first few months (3 weeks on and 1 week off), then transition to an offshore rotation (3 weeks on and 3 weeks off).

Your key responsibilities:
- Develop realistic project schedules and manage offshore manning plans, including team selection and recruitment
- Provide leadership to teams, ensuring QHSE targets and safety analysis align with project requirements
- Coordinate scope and schedule with offshore and onshore teams, ensuring work readiness and resource allocation
- Prepare and expedite commissioning documentation, resources and equipment for offshore phases
- Interface with contractors and clients for procedural details, vendor mobilisation and technical discussions
- Review and approve commissioning spares and supplier documentation, including FAT/SAT procedures
- Organise and implement pre-commissioning & commissioning HAZID, including presentations and reporting
- Monitor punch closure and revise CCLBDs as needed
- Attend meetings for progress updates and action items, including client and construction calls
- Provide input for VO creation, progress reporting and completion processes
About You
We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or relevant trade certification
- TBOSIET, MSIC & CAEB training (current)
- Extensive experience in planning and executing offshore commissioning and shutdowns, with strong knowledge of multi-discipline specifications and regulations
- Proven ability to manage multidiscipline offshore teams, demonstrating effective QHSE leadership and safety commitment
- Minimum 8 years in offshore oil and gas projects, with expertise in brownfields, construction and commissioning processes
- Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with industrial relations, capable of managing schedule changes and resource requisitioning
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and effective client and subcontractor management
