RFP of Test Engineer II

RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Work in a global team as an Individual contributor with significant responsibilities of testing of Sensor & components.
• The responsibilities include test system design, component selection, detailed design, verification testing and interfacing with other functional/support teams (such as mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, marketing, supply chain and external test labs).
• Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise is selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas & work for improving the product line.
• He/She needs to have proven record of testing delivery in a New Product Introduction (NPI) team for minimum of 3 yrs.

Essential Skills

• Sound knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics design & testing.
• Testing Knowledge on the Pressure switches & Pressure sensors.
• Hands on experience with Labview and Arduino coding preferred.
• Good understanding of MS excel and macros analysis.
• Accurate data collection & reporting of results both written and verbal
• Previous experience with test lab management, test equipment design, test plan development and test implementation on development hardware.
• Operate & maintenance of Environmental Chambers & Automated test System
• Possess sound knowledge on sensors & test equipment like PLCs, Oscilloscopes, Function generators
• Conversant with Thermal chambers and maintenance aspects. Understand TPM principles to maximize the uptime of test equipment.
• A proven track record of leading projects and multi-site cross-functional teams that successfully achieve milestones and complete deliverables.
• Good knowledge of various serial communication protocols such as USB, SPI, and I2C.
• Hands-on knowledge of Micro-controller interfacing and Analog to Digital data conversion
• Prefer working experience with Sensor signal conditioning circuits
• Good exposure to EMI/EMC & best practices in the design & certification of products
• Must have exhibited strong technical ownership in the full life cycle projects
• Have a fundamental understanding of product development, manufacturing, simulation methods and techniques, FMEA and other engineering principles.
• Predict and quantify technical risks in the project.
• Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects is preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
