Job Summary and Qualifications

The primary responsibility of the Medical Gas Specialist will be for the inventory and distribution of compressed medical gases ensuring that each clinical unit maintains adequate supply of compressed medical gases including but not limited to Oxygen, Medical Air, Heliox, Nitrogen, and Nitric Oxide, and complies with all applicable regulatory standards. • The Medical Gas Procurement Specialist will be responsible for performing all aspects of inventory control/management for Respiratory Care Services and assuring that adequate supply levels are maintained, and assist in the processing of respiratory equipment to ensure infection control processes are followed and that respiratory equipment passes operational verification tests
• Familiar with Medical Gas distribution and storage regulations

Qualifications

• High school graduate
• College level courses or related experience desired
