A little more about your role...
PMCM is our new project, cost and commercial management discipline that provides a range of project related services across multiple market sectors including transportation, buildings, water, energy and defence.
Reporting to the PMCM Head of Discipline, the successful candidate will set the direction for WSP's PMCM activities in the Nuclear sector and will be the driving force on business development, growth activities and delivery. The new appointee will use his or her own network to identify future opportunities, lead the client development and business growth capability, assist in the formulation of winning bids, and be closely involved in developing relationships with key clients. He or she will also initially be expected to take a lead role in delivering work and help establish and grow a PMCM Nuclear team that is industry recognised. As growth is firmly on the agenda, the individual will lead the development and implementation of the 3-year PMCM Nuclear Strategy.

A little more about your role...

Responsibilities include
- Lead development, ongoing co-ordination and updates of 3-year Nuclear strategy.
- Lead and champion PMCM Nuclear related Key Account Management
- Lead PMCM Nuclear related Business Development - internal and Client facing.
- Lead Strategic level bids and lead the initial phase of delivery.
- Strategic overview of Nuclear markets and key opportunities, maintaining pipeline.
- Lead and develop Nuclear client management, pursuit management and authoring capabilities.
Skills / Experience
- The ability to work closely with WSP colleagues and clients at a senior level.
- Demonstrable PMCM Nuclear sector knowledge and project/commercial delivery experience at senior level and with a senior network.
- Proven Key client management skills - able to develop/maintain excellent client relationships ensuring repeat business and continually improved client satisfaction.
- The ability to think strategically and lead the development of strategy.
- The ability to identify and develop business opportunities from initial discussions through to bid submissions and bid win.
- The ability to demonstrate the ability to network and grow relationships in a complex organisation both internally and externally.
- An understanding of all the services WSP can offer, and proactively integrate these for the best client delivery.

- The ability to be a confident leader with proven strategy, business growth and project/commercial delivery experience in the Nuclear sector.
- Flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment.

- Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular reports and analysis to project managers.
- Support and assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA etc)
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of project activities.
- Contributes to the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.
- Assist in the implementation of project controls processes and tools to improve project performance.
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and project controls methodologies.
- Support risk management activities, including identifying and assessing project risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Conduct performance analysis and provide recommendations for project improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Exposure developing PowerBI and Data Analytics is desirable.
