Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the drill rig market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in various industries such as mining, construction, oil and gas, and civil engineering.
- Create and manage a sales pipeline, set targets, and work to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Collaborate with senior management to adjust sales strategies and identify emerging market trends.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to clients based on their specific drilling requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and key accounts.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction.
- Organize regular team meetings to monitor progress, review targets, and share best practices.
- Market & Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in the drill rig and heavy equipment industry.
- Understand customer needs, competitor activities, and product specifications to provide optimal solutions.
- Provide feedback on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor products to help shape product development.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.
- Track sales metrics and KPIs to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a sales leadership or management role in the heavy equipment or drill rig industry.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in the drilling, mining, construction, or oil and gas sectors.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of drill rig products, equipment specifications, and industry applications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
