Metro Building Services is looking for a highly qualified Commercial/Industrial HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing Hammond, LA Service Team!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and test complex HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, chillers/coolers, VRF's, and package units.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation.
• Perform system start ups and inspections to verify proper functionality and efficiency.
• Understand and adhere to building code regulations while working in various job site environments.
• Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technologies and installation techniques.

Qualifications and preferred experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in servicing, diagnosing, and installing complex HVAC equipment in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Clean and valid driving license and record required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
