EMEA Communications Manager

We have an opportunity for a EMEA Communications Manager to join us at Honeywell, in Bracknell, where you will lead and drive internal communications and counsel our EU leadership team on communications strategy. The role will also be responsible for driving internal communications activity around our C-level and other senior executive visits to the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

This work involves strategic planning in support of key functional initiatives and business priorities; developing and delivering robust, sound communications plans and messages; and flawlessly executing in a complex, dynamic environment. You will help guide efforts to consistently develop creative, compelling, and human-focused content that connects Honeywell employees with each other, leaders, and the company's strategic initiatives. You will measure and interpret data that help us enhance our communication practices across the company, and plan and promote signature internal initiatives, such as sustainability month, employee engagement and Voice of the Employee campaigns.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model, with up to 10% EU travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the EMEA internal communications strategy to strengthen employee engagement and Honeywell's positioning as a company focused on growth.
• Support major initiatives, organization transitions, leadership changes, and other transformation steps through innovative and effective communication plans that address the needs of varied audiences and stakeholders.
• Support cross-company measurement of communications effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Raise the bar on the quality of communications by guiding content strategies that result in elegantly simple, visually compelling, and easily understandable communications.
• Oversee and contribute to editorial planning/development in support of Honeywell's drive for growth.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree, and strong, demonstrated experience in external and internal communications in a corporate or an agency environment.
• Provides strategic communication counsel to senior leadership, focusing on developing effective strategies and plans that drive results while demonstrating strong storytelling and writing skills.
• Utilizes exceptional editing abilities and a hands-on approach to efficiently produce high-quality content that meets deadlines.
• Advocates for Inclusion & Diversity in alignment with Honeywell's core principles, and embraces creative thinking and intelligent risk-taking to enhance communication quality.
• Leverages a deep understanding of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Yammer, to promote employee engagement while managing multiple client demands and competing priorities.
