Position Summary

The Water Treatment Technician is responsible for providing technical support at the customer sites to facilitate effective Chemical Management and the Detack program by conducting performance evaluations of materials and mechanical processes including testing, analytical evaluation, problem solving, product recommendations, and process improvement.

• Successfully manages and prioritizes multiple projects within fluctuating operational demands
• Accepts challenges, identifies needs and is willing to work on new projects
• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, engineering or technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience in chemical/industrial environment preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in paint detack preferred

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and the use of internet resources for presentations and problem solving, required.

Work Environment:

Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment. This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires presence on the manufacturing floor and a significant amount of walking on concrete surfaces. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Ability to work in team fostered environment. Ability to work in multi-tasked environment. Strong personality and focus in fast-paced and demanding environments. Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.

Travel:

Minimal local travel during working hours may be required during the workday.
