Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and achieve business objectives.
Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Monitor and analyze plant performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure the maintenance and reliability of all plant equipment and systems.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure cost effective operations.
Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Prepare and present reports on plant performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 10 years in a senior management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management and plant management software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and environmental protocols.
