A global energy consultancy, specializing in delivering integrated services for complex energy projects, is seeking an Engineering Manager - Floating System to support a Concept Select and Pre-FEED project for a deepwater gas development offshore Indonesia.

• Employment Type: 9-month - 12-month contract (Potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Floating System engineering team throughout the Concept Select and Pre-FEED phases of the project.
• Provide technical direction and leadership for floating system design, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geotechnical, subsea, pipelines, integrity, safety, risk, and commercial aspects.
• Engage with project stakeholders to define and refine floating system concepts and execution strategies.
• Oversee contractors and ensure that deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Potential travel to Jakarta, with the possibility of being based at either the contractor's Jakarta office or their centre of excellence engineering office.
• Should the Floating System be selected for development, the role will transition into a full-time engagement for the active SWR phase.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and fully accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of offshore oil and gas experience, with at least 10 years as an Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer in conceptual study, Pre-FEED, and FEED of floating systems.
• Proven track record of delivering at least three (3) completed greenfield deepwater projects in Concept Select, Pre-FEED, and FEED as an Engineering Manager - Floating System or in a similar leadership role.
