Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior Admin officer for one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be client office based with a possibility of onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Manager with a proven track record in robust cost and schedule management, ideally coming from a cost control background, to take on a high value portfolio of projects for a high-profile client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience as administrator or similar role in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Projects including minimum five (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.

Subject Matter Expertise:
  • Responsible in own discipline to provide support to the business.
  • Ensuring learning opportunities are captured and realised.
  • Responsible in knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.
  • Perform the role of Technical Authority when appointed to do so.
  • Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports / respective team.
  • Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities.
  • Manage and direct resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrate current knowledge with industry and technology development within discipline.
  • Demonstrate continual professional development
