As a Software Quality Engineer on the Honeywell Life Sciences Quality Engineeringteam, you will partner with product management, development, architecture, customersupport, and professional services stakeholders to deliver quality featuresthat enhance the experience of our customers. You will utilize approaches thatbring quality further upstream and share actionable data that keeps quality topof mind. We need someone who is technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative,and passionate about the product and our customers. This is a key roleexecuting on Quality Engineering initiatives such as advancing test automation,increasing test coverage, and reducing escaped defects.

As a Software Quality Engineer on the Honeywell Life Sciences Quality Engineeringteam, you will partner with product management, development, architecture, customersupport, and professional services stakeholders to deliver quality featuresthat enhance the experience of our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Involved in QE activities associated with our product releases.
- Work with a team of quality engineers to ensure the highest quality product delivery and monitor metrics to gauge progress against quality goals.
- Understand how all components and interfaces of the product work together and develop QE approaches to fit the overall product architecture.
- Support product teams in ensuring high product quality through exploratory and functional testing techniques
- Develop software test strategies and test scenarios, analyze test results, and maintain test suites.
- Develop automation scripts for validating the product User Interface (UI) and web services (API).
- Participate in defect reviews during the release process to ensure resolution and systemic root cause removal and support other root-cause analysis exercises.
- Act as a change agent within the Sparta organization to improve quality and agility.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 2 years of software testing and quality assurance experience of SaaS solutions, in an Agile development environment
- 1 year of experience defining test strategies and test scenarios for multi-tiered web-facing applications, and testing web services, especially REST services
- 1 year of hands-on experience maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts with Selenium WebDriver, including creating automation scripts beyond record and playback using languages like Java
WE VALUE
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical engineering or similar
- Practical experience in all types of testing including exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing such as performance and reliability
- Knowledge of database concepts, with SQL/Oracle experience
- Practical experience with mobile application testing
- Familiarity with build and continuous integration tools like Jenkins
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform
