As our new East Cost Sales Engineer, you will effectively grow Emerson's Systems and Solutions (PSS) business (Control & Safety Systems and Software) across the west coast of Australia and New Zealand, by imparting expert technical and business strategic advice to new customers This is your opportunity to work with an outstanding team dedicated to making the world healthier, safer, and more balanced!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive new installed base systems across all industries located in the west coast of Australia and New Zealand.
  • Provide a senior level of face-to-face customer contact supported by phone, email and virtual interactions to engage closely with EPC, OEM & other business partners in the region.
  • Respond to enquiries from customers and provide quotations for products, solutions and projects.
  • Conduct and assist marketing events and technology road shows.
  • Manage and implement pricing structure for end users, resellers and other business partners.
  • Conduct product demonstrations.
  • Provide general and technical support of products.
  • Conduct analysis and research to gain an understanding of the customer base and keep abreast of any changes to the market, competitors, technology and the industry in general.


Who You Are:

You identify and seize new opportunities, acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems, and maintain a positive attitude despite adversity.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Tertiary qualified in an engineering or related discipline
  • Sales experience within process automation
  • Developed Sales skills (i.e. Negotiation, Influence, Formal Presentation, Closure, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively build technical and business relationships with key people within the industry
