Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Planning Engineer (Temporary) that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What makes you remarkable?

• Work as part of the Project Team on major projects within the Wood Thailand Project controls organisation
• Working on a variety of projects both domestic and offshore both reimbursable and lump sum
• Reporting directly to the Chief Cost Engineer or PCM
• Manage and report project cost both internally and to client
• Reporting and forecasting on all project costs including for services, materials and Sub-contract construction costs, and preparing project monthly report.
• Participating in period project cost reviews including for profit and loss assessments
• Participating in project risk assessments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferably in field of Engineering
• Min 3 years direct experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or similar facilities, experience of FEED, EPC Projects is preferable
• Exposure to project cost control or commercial management of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Works would be preferable but not essential
• Should be able to interpret contracts with regards to scope, commercial liability and opportunity
• Have the ability to understand and manage financial risks
• Must have good IT skills
• Must have good command of English language both oral and written, also good at presentation
• Previous Project experience preferred but not essential
• Opportunities available for resources at all levels
